The Lost Cases is a short film project that explores the tension between truth, perception, and unresolved mysteries. The story follows a young investigator who stumbles upon a series of forgotten files that reveal hidden connections between past crimes and present realities.
The scope of The Lost Cases covers the full cycle of short film production, including script development, casting, location scouting, filming, and post-production editing. The project will utilize a compact yet versatile crew to ensure efficiency while maintaining high production quality, with a focus on storytelling, cinematic visuals, and immersive sound design. The deliverables include a 15–20 minute short film optimized for both festival submissions and digital streaming platforms. Also create a trailer for promotional materials.
The process began with brainstorming and scriptwriting to shape a compelling narrative, followed by casting and location scouting to set the right tone for the story. Once pre-production was finalized, the team moved into filming with a focus on capturing cinematic shots and authentic performances. Post-production brought the project to life through editing, color grading, and sound design, ensuring a polished and immersive final cut ready for both festivals and digital release.
“The Lost Cases” was delivered as a polished short film that combined cinematic visuals, compelling storytelling, and professional-grade editing. The final cut runs for 18 minutes and is tailored for film festivals, online platforms, and private screenings. With carefully crafted sound design and rich color grading, the film captures a dark yet engaging atmosphere that leaves a lasting impression on viewers.
